Travel Korea: Hangang Banpo Bridge

Mention Seoul, and one will probably think-shopping! On the other hand, my favourite thing to do in Seoul is actually walking along Hangang (한강) and visiting its various parks and bridges.

The bridge that most people recognize, be it from Music Videos or drama scenes, would probably be Banpo bridge (반포대교), where the world’s longest bridge fountain is. The trip to the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain (달빛무지개 분수) might not be the most convenient, but it’s definitely worth the trip. At specific times of the day, one can enjoy the dancing water spouts and lighting effects as part of the fountain show, with both Kpop and classical music playing in the background. Personally, I found the night scene after the show a scene in itself. Watching night lights glistening on the water surface, with N Seoul Tower as a backdrop, listening to Yiruma’s piano songs. Bliss~
